001 . hello ! my name is ellie, i’m eighteen and i’ve been in the roleplay community for about four or five years now and here are a few of the rules i’ve come across that apply to interactions with ernie ! i’m generally super easygoing, activity will occasionally be pretty lax but i’m always here for interactions .
002 . ernie is primarily book - canon based . whilst i adore the harry potter movies , very little of my interpretation of ernie will come from anything we see in the films . so , in short , the actor we see in the films ( LOUIS DOYLE ) is not going to be seen as ernie here .
003 . i’m super private and super selective , so i will only be interacting with my mutuals . if i don’t follow you back , it could be one of three reasons : i haven’t seen whatever film / read whatever book / etc . your character belongs to , i feel our writing styles do not mesh well , or i just haven’t seen that you followed me ! if i’ve mentioned having watched / read the particular thing your character is from , feel free to kick me up the bum . my dis.cord will only be available to mutuals , and even then , i will be super selective about which mutuals i choose to send it to .
004 . i make and find all the icon resources myself . the psd is named RED VELVET and the icon border is from KINGSLEIGHS border pack . please do not steal my icons , unless i have explicitly stated that it is okay to download them and use them .
005 . please don’t god-mod . it isn’t fun for anyone , especially me and you . god-modding can result in an outright ban or just me dropping the thread we have going .
006 . plagiarism is a big no - no ! ernie is a recently revamped muse of mine , as evidenced by the recent url change & theme update . it's also a bit indicative of the fact that i've been around for a while & seen multiple friends go through periods of time where their work has been plagiarised & specific headcanons & characterisations have been stolen . if i become aware of any such plagiarism , i will not hesitate to block & unfollow you .
007 . if you have any triggers and i haven’t tagged them , please do not hesitate to shoot me a message ! i will go back and tag everything ! i don’t want anyone to feel as if they cannot speak to me , whether about plotting or otherwise .
008 . i do have exclusive and mains with which i will only roleplay with their iteration of a certain muse , unless i fall just as in love with another’s characterisation . please do not ask me to make exceptions , unless i have stated that i will .
009 . i may not follow you back if you are a duplicate , unless you are a multi - muse blog . however , exceptions may be made .
010 . this muse will have multiple verses & therefore will have multiple ships . ernie does not have a set sexuality in any verse so things are pretty up in the air in that aspect . ships will be based entirely on chemistry . if ernie doesn't have chemistry with your character , then a ship probably won't evolve . a side note : smut probably won't be happening here , not unless i'm super feeling it with our characters interactions .

follows my headcanons starting from age two and ending at the start of his first year . usually unused as a verse , as many characters will not have interacted with him before he got to hogwarts . up for play with any character who is a member of the sacred twenty eight , or any character who could feasibly be part of the same social circle . faceclaims are evan turner , theodore turner & jackson brundage . there have been spin - offs of this verse with different parents : lily evans - as his adoptive mother sirius black & dominique macmillan as his biological parents .
post the battle of hogwarts , circa adulthood . ernie makes his own way in the world , l;having joined the ministry as an auror following his provisional year at hogwarts , in which he was training & finishing his newts ( mainly for himself . ) this all happens as ernie deals with the grief from the loss of his long - time friend & first love , justin finch - fletchley , & his ptsd diagnosis . he climbs the ranks within the auror department , working beneath hermione granger , as a liaison officer with the internationalauror offices .
post the battle of hogwarts , circa adulthood. the loss of long - time friend & the first love of ernie's life , justin finch - fletchley has driven ernie into a deep depression . somehow , his friends manage to drag him through the first and second year of life without justin . despite being a recipient of the order of merlin &nsbp;, first class for his fighting in the battle of hogwarts , the wounds are still fresh . he works as the undersecretary to the minister of magic himself , kingsley shacklebolt .
ernie , proud as he may be , has to admit he's fucked it up big time . as the time - turners crack down the middle , everything changes . this verse is for explicitly harry potter universes . this includes the founders era , the fantastic beasts series & the period before it where newt is at hogwarts , the riddle era , the marauders era & the next gen era .
incredibly rich & he knows it , ernie macmillan is the typical rich boy who has it all . his parents , those macmillan's , historical powerhouses & advisors to royalty , politicians , humanitarian charity ceo's & barons . ernie attends a private school & is an exceedingly private person . he works a weekend job & his life is set with his father being a member of the house of lords / the duke of norfolk , a member of the knights of the garter & royal advisor , & his mother the ceo of a prominent non - profit human rights organisation . ernie has no magical ability in this verse . this could be applicable to the royals ( faceclaim used will be sam claflin , as close friends with prince liam , ) gossip girl , or any other such socialite based tv show . )
ernie macmillan , victor of the fifty sixth hunger games , at age fifteen . he is the youngest victor to emerge from district two , having shown fierce loyalty , winning in the name of violet lawson , whom he was reaped with . his exception skill with many weapons enabled him to outsmart all of his opponents , following violet being murdered in the bloodbath . he works with lyme , allying himself with other victors who belief the capitol should burn , with the likes of finnick odair & finnick's wife , annie cresta , he lives in district thirteen following the commencement of the seventy fifth hunger games . in an alternate verse of this , he sacrifices himself to save finnick odair from the mutts , to allow finnick to return home to his wife . primary faceclaim is charlie hunnam , but other faceclaims may be used if thread is set before the seventieth hunger games , when he is twenty nine .
ernest macmillan , bastard of jaime lannister . after being in hiding for years , he is one of the key players after being discovered by cersei , who takes him in before the death of joffrey , as it is to be seen as a great act of kindness to reaffirm the lannister's now having the right to rule . firmly allied with the lannister's , he will follow cersei to the death . a key strategist in the war to come , he grows anxious with the news of the king in the north as well as the winter , as the time grows nearer for the game to end . this verse begins when he is sixteen .
agents of shield / marvel cinematic universe verse . ernie macmillan was hand - selected by phil coulson to help rebuild shield when the rest of the strike team was radicalised by hydra . ernie's job is to train all members of shield in combat , especially the agents who had minimal training & did not carry weapons when shield fell . ( not yet updated as far as the last two seasons as i haven't watched them yet , but watch this space . )
ernie has always known he wasn't like the other kids , but who was he supposed to tell when his parents didn't understand why he burst into flames when he got angry & seemed to have some control over the elements ? following the burning down of x - manor , he has allied himself with the x - men . ( this is a new verse but i am obsessed with the x - men film franchise & i have to rewatch them to be able to incorporate stuff here . )
north side , riverdale . the son of the richest lawyer in town , ernie macmillan keeps to himself , as well as his small group of friends . with the arrival of rich girl veronica lodge & the drama that emerges following the death of jason blossom & the additional panic the black hood brings , ernie is haughty , proud & has learned everything is not as it seems , even the southside .
